It is a rejoicing fact that today Traditional Chinese Medicine has raison d’etre in 122 countriesworldwide. There are several excellent TCM studies proving its build-in capability into health care system helping the patients in need.
Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine at University of Pecs, as the first Confucius Institute with TCM features in Central and Eastern Europe, was inaugurated on 27th of March, 2015, to strengthen and widen the Chinese-Hungarian professional relations, providing academic background for Traditional Chinese Medicine within Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Last year University of Pécs is celebrating the 650th anniversary of its foundation, within the Jubilee events of which, “One Belt – One Road”— “Traditional Chinese Medicine in International Practice” will have an honorable place with full respect to the hundreds years’ old Institute.
This year is also special because Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine at University of Pécs and Hungarian Medical Acupuncture Association (MAOT) are organizing together the Conference, which is also the 34. MAOT Congress and 1st Congress of the Hungarian Integrative Medicine Alliance.
The function of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Complementary Medicine in health care stands at the focus of the Congress.
Main topics: Acupuncture, rehabilitation, pain, analgesia
Workshops: we are looking forward to applicaitons of registered naturopaths, in the following natural healing: acupressure, eye training, reflexology.
